Plastisol Transfer Printing (PTP) Information
Most items that are manufactured by Stuart Promotional Products can be
printed with your
company name and/or logo. Plastisol transfer printing is better than single
color foil stamp printing where only solid colors are used. Plastisol
transfer printing is more durable than vinyl decal printing and leaves no
real image edge and is smooth. Should you require
plastisol transfer printing the
following applies:
Any variation of image colors, shades or halftones can be used on a
white back drop. Plastisol is white like paper which leaves a white
border around the image.
Our graphics department will make
the necessary changes to the size if required. Free consultation is
also available from our graphic department.
We no longer charge for printing, but we do charge for new
artwork and changes made to old tooling. Advise us if both sides of
your item requires printing. Most items can't be printing on more than one
side!
For SMALL image sizes smaller than 2 1/2"W *
1"L (ID Holders) specify small (PTP) printing.
For STRIP (Lanyards) image sizes smaller
than 10"W * 1/2"L (Lanyards) specify strip (PTP) printing.
For MEDIUM image sizes smaller than 5 "W * 3
1/2"L (Passport Holders) specify medium (PTP) printing.
For LARGE image sizes smaller than 7 "W * 5"L
(Menu Covers) specify large (PTP) printing.
For X-LARGE image sizes smaller than 7 "W *
10"L (Note Books) specify large (PTP) printing. We
do not recommend plastisol transfer printing for image sizes larger than
this area.
Please send camera ready artwork to our sales department via real or
electronic mail attachment to our graphics
department using JPG or BMP format, but EPS, TIFF, All Vector
files are also acceptable.
